Major Work

On Location Photography

Taking total control of the narrative. For my major work during my Bachelor of Design in Photography and Situated Media at UTS, I decided to dive into high-end fashion photography. In this diptych, the goal was to portray powerful, beautiful women in a timeless setting—creating a world where these characters look flawless and are in absolute control of every single moment.

I used subtle visual cues to communicate that power, like the driver holding the fur coat in the first image, and the small call bell resting under the chair in the second. Bringing a high-end concept like this to life takes a village, and I directed the entire shoot on location, coordinating the models, stylist, makeup artist, hairstylist, and two photography assistants.
