Swipejobs

Product Design

Swipejobs is a digital staffing platform that connects job seekers with temporary work opportunities in real time. By utilizing a mobile app and website, the platform automatically matches workers with available shifts based on their skills, preferences, and location. It completely streamlines the traditional recruitment process, allowing employers to hire temporary staff instantly while giving workers the freedom to choose shifts that fit their lives.

Managing a Complex Multi-Platform Ecosystem

As a Product Designer at Swipejobs, my role has been instrumental in shaping and enhancing the user experience across five distinct digital platforms. Designing for an on-demand marketplace means balancing entirely different user mindsets simultaneously. My work spanned across:

  • The Worker App and Worker Desktop: Creating seamless, frictionless mobile and web interfaces where job seekers can onboard quickly, view matches, and accept shifts instantly.

  • The Customer App and Customer Desktop: Designing intuitive hiring dashboards for employers who need to post shifts, manage schedules, and track temporary staff efficiently.

  • The Service Desktop: Architecting the internal tools and dashboards used by the Swipejobs operations team to oversee the entire marketplace and keep operations running smoothly.

Research, Collaboration, and Delivery

My day to day responsibilities involved leading user research initiatives to understand the unique behaviors of both gig-economy workers and busy hiring managers. I translated those insights into intuitive, user-friendly interfaces, building out comprehensive component libraries and wireframes.

Working in a fast-paced technology environment, I collaborated closely with cross-functional product, engineering, and business teams to ensure our innovative features were technically feasible and commercially viable. My time at Swipejobs highlights my deep commitment to delivering seamless, end-to-end design solutions that solve real-world logistical problems at scale.
